All Paws & Claws Grooming Salon
Ken and Barbara have decided to take their love of animals to the next level and open a grooming salon. Barbara is getting ready to take the 300 hour education to become certified as a groomer, the salon is getting a much needed facelift, and a new website is being created as you read this. It will be a full salon, with bathing, grooming, nails, teeth, daycare, and much more. We have hired an experienced groomer, Tracie, and she will be doing the grooming until Barbara gets her certification. August 01, 2009 will be the grand opening, so come out and take a look at what we did with the salon. On the first of August you can get your dog brushed for 50% off, but you must make an appointment. So call early to get your pet ready for the fall season. We will be doing any small animal, such as dogs (all sizes), cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, and call for any other animal. Barbara has been involved with animals for the last 30 years, owning hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, ferrets, dogs, cats, and mice. Her love of animals is unending. She feels that someone has to stand up for the four legged friends in the world or no one else will. Just some of the things she has helped in the last few years: There were a family of ducks walking on the sidewalk over at one of the strip malls. With traffic being heavy, she and a few other women, felt that this family had to be helped or killed. So with others helping, we got the family into 2 boxes and Barb took them over to Grings Mill and set them free. See the pictures below.
And how about the time that Barb brought home the very large Yellow Lab, that someone had left by the side of the road. Ken was not very happy that day, but Buddy is now a daddy's boy and loves to sleep with Ken when Barb has to get up early. See below for pictures of Buddy.
